世间有一种语言大才，在翻译界属于神一般的存在。优秀译者的译作可以用信、达、雅来衡量，而神译者的译作往往是一‘翻‘入魂。
看第一段英文：
I love three things in the world
The sun, the moon and you
The sun for the day, the moon for the night
and you forever.
读完上面这段英文，并且尝试自己翻译一下。

想必普通人直译都感到困难。
这是余光中先生的翻译：

下面这一句

一段长英文：

上面这段话有些长，可能一遍读下来无法完全理解其中的意思。直接看下面的译文：
我非优雅之人，非周日清晨或者周五黄昏。我是穷街陋巷闷重的枪响，是二月的破窗，是周二两点的凌晨。我随阴暗的重击从高贵跌落，我为我无所适从的悲哀致歉，黯然伤神，碎骨焚心。我与周围的人群格格不入，我是闰日里虚无缥缈的灵魂。明暗已在我的肤表下汇聚成一场风暴，闪电还未到来，就已雷鸣阵阵。
英年早逝的英国诗人济慈，在死前要求，自己的墓碑上不要写上自己的名字，就写这么一句话
Here lies one whose name was written in water.
后来被广泛翻译成：此地长眠者，声名水上书。
拜伦给情人的一封信中写道：
Everything is the same, but you are not here, and I still am.
In separation the one who goes away suffers less than the one who stays behind.
钱钟书先生翻译：
此间百凡如故，我仍留而君已去耳。
行行生别离，去者不如留者神伤之甚。
