在朋友文章的插频里听到这首歌，思绪起伏，往日的一些片段拉伸而来。
Bressanone（ 布列瑟农 ），很久很久以前一直循环的歌曲，是加拿大音乐人Matthew Lien（马修·连恩）创作并演唱的。并收录在他的专辑Bleeding Wolves中。
那时的我，在前奏中，山谷里回响的教堂钟声敲过后，当钢琴被敲出悠扬空灵的低音3，便知道钟情啦，一下就陷进空灵哀伤的旋律中，以至连歌曲信息都没看仔细就循环起来。听了很久以为这是加拿大版的狼，一只无家可归的狼 。
加拿大地方政府在92年有个著名的“驯鹿增量计划”，是建立在必须大量捕杀食鹿的狼群基础上实施的，为此，马修·连恩与多位音乐同仁共同完成了一张名为Bleeding Wolves的专辑，Bressanone被收入其中。
而这首歌的创作实际上是基于发生在意大利Bressanone小镇的一个动人故事。
Bressanone，是意大利北部小镇，中文为布列瑟农，多年前20岁的北美音乐人来到这里度假，这里是他妈妈的故乡。在那邂逅了一位美丽的女孩，为她倾倒，展开热烈追求后，双双坠入爱河。
然而，各自的前程令他们有缘无份，各自都没有妥协，不得不分离。
最是有情似无情。
在离开小镇Bressanone的火车上，男生睡着了，梦里竟寻得一段旋律，于是就有了这首Bressanone。

从此，马修·连恩便一直在他情深满满的醇厚声线中，冷冽暗哑地诉说离愁。而两次间奏配器上令人惊艳的钢琴与长笛、钢琴与萨克斯的完美纠缠，纠缠的旋律在黎明的钟声及渐行渐远的火车鸣叫及钢轨声中，将不得不做选择的凄哀与惆怅掩埋于心底。
最是无情似有情！
歌中唱道：I must go the other way，有时候真不明白哪里有那么多MUST呀。还My heart would surely stay，有用吗？
心酸唏嘘。
除了刻骨铭心的记忆，孤独的离此而去的你，还能带走什么呢？
无以止住的苍凉，无以讲出的悲哀。
一切心动皆虚空，虚空之中又分明；生别离时心欲死，生离别后心又生。
断肠人在天涯。
想坐火车了，绿皮车！

2011年7月，马修·连恩推出了新版的《狼》，对原版中所有的曲目重新加以演绎，并增添了在《布列瑟农》的基础上重新改编创作的《重返布列瑟农》（Longing for Bressanone），是20年后重走当年路有感而发之作，是对那段时光一别20年的追忆梦回。是隔着苍茫的岁月遥相呼应，令人心醉。
