迎着狂风暴雨高昂着头；
他们虽会发狂并像钉子一样僵死，
狠角色的头颅捶打着雏菊；
在阳光下碎裂直到太阳崩解，
死亡也不能主宰一切。
翻译手记：
前几天，以翻译菲茨杰拉德的杰作《了不起的盖茨比》而著称的翻译家巫-宁-坤先生辞世，读到他翻译的托马斯·狄兰的名诗And death shall have nodominion，深有感触。黄灿然先生对巫先生的译文称赞有加，觉得原胜余光中先生的译文。巫先生的译文确实很精到，可能因为翻译的时间有些久了，我个人觉得个别地方不够流畅，还有可改进之处。因此班门弄斧，也把这首诗翻译了一下，以向先生致敬。
最后一段让人想起“刑天舞干戚，猛志固常在”。今天是中元节，愿死者安息，精神长存。
