做过好几批租赁方面的稿件，脑子里出现好几个租赁相关的词语——Rent, rental, lease, sublet。每次遣词造句之前，我都会查一下剑桥词典。一方面，加深印象，识记相关用法；另一方面，避免稿件出现搭配错误。
- Rent (租金，租房，出租)
[ C or U ] a fixed amount of money that you pay regularly for the use of a room, house, car, television, etc. that someone else owns: 租金
I pay a higher rent/more rent than the other tenants because my room is bigger. 支付租金

- Rental noun （租赁事宜，租金，租赁物）

Because larger rentals are the hardest to find, tenants snap them up quickly.

sublet verb [ T ]
to allow someone to rent all or part of a house or other building that you are renting from someone else:
Our rental contract states that we are not allowed to sublet the house.

One end is a mini-mall, with space subleased to a variety of businesses.
The downsizing companies might put too much office space up for sublease.
The head tenant will grant subleases in consideration of a premium and a low rent.
