I finished my junior middle school from a boarding school. As the boy of 13, I never dealt with such things as washing clothes or taking care of money. I could not get well with my classmates and I always looked forward to be on holiday to meet my parents. As time went by, I gradual adapted myself to the school life. I made friend with my classmates and often took part in activities in what I improved my communicating skills. As I had a lot of interesting things to do it, I finally enjoy my school life.
第一句里面,把from改为in。这句话的意思是“在一所寄宿学校里面完成了初中学业”,动词是finished,from的意思是“从…”,in意思为“在…里”。
第二句里面,把the改为a。本句意思是,作为一个13岁的男孩。另外,这句话里面,deal的过去式以及过去分词的写法要留意,都是在这个词后面加字母t。
第二句里面,把or改成and。
第三句里面,把get well with改成get along/on with。“与某人相处”是get on/along with sb,这几个词是这个词组里面必不可少的。
第三句里面,把look forward to be中的be改成being。look forward to这个词组中,to是介词,介词后面要接名词或者动名词,动词be的动名词是being。
第四句里面,把gradual改为gradually。这里意思是“我渐渐适应了…”,是要修饰动词adapted的,所以要用副词形式。另外,这一句里面的词组adapt (oneself) to中,to是介词,常考这个介词搭配以及它后面的接续。
第五句里面,把friend改为friends,be/make friends (with sb)是固定短语,其实想想就可以明白,交朋友是是至少两人,彼此为朋友,所以一定不要忘了加上s。
第五句里面,把what改成which。这是一个定语从句,介词in后面跟宾语指物应该是which,定语从句中一般不会出现what,名词性从句中才有what。这个句子难点在于,断句不清产生误判,把in看做了前面句子的内容,把后面的句子看成了in的宾语从句。实际上,took part in activities是一个意群,in和后面的内容属于同一个句子。这样,in which I improved … 这个句子跟在名词activities之后,对其进行修饰,是定语从句,which既充当从句引导词,同时也是介词in的宾语。
第六句里面,把it去掉。不定式to do在这里作定语,修饰前面的a lot of interesting things,这个a lot of interesting things从逻辑上来讲,就是这个不定式的宾语,此时不定式后面不能再跟宾语。
第六句里面,把enjoy改成enjoyed。这篇文章全篇都是回忆自己的初中生活,用的全是过去时,这里也要用一般过去时。需要注意的是,enjoy的过去式和过去分词很容易被同学们写错,人家是直接加ed。
