今日打卡第四天，完成了Unit2中译英的文章。不过整理句式翻译之前，首先介绍一种学习理论，叫做“学习金字塔”，见上图。
其基本观点是“听讲”是最为低效的学习途径，虽然目前的教育模式中运用最为广泛，学生通过这种方式吸收的知识只有5%；
而通过“阅读”、“声音或图片”、“示范或演示”、达到的效果分别占10%、20%和30%，这几种途径也是如今的教学中常常采取的方式。这些都属于“被动学习”。
在“主动学习”中，通过“小组讨论”和“实际演练”获取知识分别可以留下50%和75%；但是最高效的方式，即知识保持率最高的途径是“教别人或者马上运用”。
比方说，学生的错题仅仅订正是不够的，看他是否真正懂得了，可以让他讲解给别人听；我们对于某个专业知识点是否弄透，也可以看能不能用自己的语言讲述一遍。
所以针对翻译练习，我会要求自己先练习，然后提炼重点表达，分享出来；伙伴们每天背记英语单词和句式，也要学会在口语或是写作中经常性运用；在看过一篇英文文章后，能不能尝试自己paraphrase，使用自己的语言复述？
这是更有效的巩固英语学习的方法之一，分享给大家~
今天汉译英的文章是从一个外国人的角度谈论学习汉语的经历和对中国文化的认同，相对比较口语化，主要总结的句子如下：
1.随手翻翻我立即就被吸引住了，从未见过如此清新风格的诗词。
一般译法：I looked through and I was attracted immediately because I had never seen such refreshing poems.
优质译法：I thumbed through a few pages and was glued to it: never had I read poetry in such refreshing styles.
技巧点拨：注意“随手翻翻”的地道英文表达是thumb through，而“吸引”除了用attract，还可用be glued to 更为生动。后半句使用了倒装，句式多样。
2.直到开课前夕，中文系千辛万苦地总算从全英国招来了5名学生。
一般译法：It was not until the class was going to begin that the Chinese Department had finally recruited five students from the whole England.
优质译法：The Chinese Department managed to enroll only five students from across the country just before the course got started.
技巧点拨：对比两种译法，第二种属于更加地道的英文表达。
3.中国文化如同围棋，游戏规则简单明了，几下子就可以解释清楚，但真正玩起来后才逐渐领略到其中的奥妙。
一般译法：Chinese culture is just like the chess which has easy rules for people to understand, but you can only know the spirit of it after starting playing it.
优质译法：Chinese culture is like the go game, the rules of which are clear and easy to follow, but until you begin to play it you do not see the mystery and complexity involved in it.
技巧点拨：注意chess一般指国际象棋，go game表示中国围棋，“奥妙”可以译为mystery and complexity。
4.我深知那是因为“起承转合”的中文写作玄机启发了我的思维，璀璨的中国文化给了我享用不尽的灵感。
优质译法：I know that I had benefited from the techniques of classical Chinese writing, i.e. the four steps: introduction, elucidation, transition, and conclusion, and the brilliant Chinese culture had enlightened me with inexhaustible inspirations.
技巧点拨：“起承转合”是旧时写文章常用的行文顺序，“起”是开始；“承”是承接上文，加以申述，“转”是转折，从正面、反面立论；“合”是总结。可以译为：introduction, elucidation, transition and conclusion.
