今天呢，我给大家推荐一首很好听的英文歌，叫做I Am Me Once More. 歌手是个马来西亚姑娘，Zee Avi，中文名叫季小薇。在QQ音乐和网易云音乐里都可以找到哦。
这首歌很短，讲的故事也很简单：一个和前任分手的姑娘顿悟到，原来她并不需要他，她只需要自己；在一起的时候疲累难过是因为她并不是在做自己，分手后找回了自己，感觉棒棒哒。
听起来，这首歌好像是一首鸡汤歌。这样的顿悟其实并不是只有歌里的姑娘才有，那一刻醍醐灌顶，看明白了想通了，过去才能过去，才能好好过现在好好计划将来。所以咱们干了这碗鸡汤，你们听这首歌的时候，我来分析一下歌词中的英语语言点——我毕竟是英语老师嘛，force of habit。

这句话语气很绝对，要慎用，否则，大家都没有面子。歌里这姑娘说I don’t think that I would for a second let you back in through my door, 就是说：进我的家门回到我身边，你想都不要想。这样强烈的语气，好像比较适合说给混账的前任~

注意spend的过去式和过去分词是spent. 不要嫌我啰嗦哦，就这还有很多人说错呢。咱们就严谨一些嘛！不过这里的spend按照歌里的姑娘的心态，应该理解为waste。不难理解，在不合适的人身边，每一分钟都是浪费时间。
我的改写中，dwell on sth./doing sth., 可以理解为“赖在…不愿离开”，可以dwell on my bed不想上班，也可以dwell on the past因为everything seems sweeter in retrospect（回首过去时，一切好像都比现在好）
