我把表示正面积极的词汇分为三类：积极的心态；积极的行动；积极的结果。
大多数例句来自政府工作报告和领导人讲话，还是很有权威性哒。
1. 积极的心态
①optimistic 乐观的
She is optimistic about her chances of winning a gold medal.
她对赢得金牌很乐观。

②hopeful
a. 抱有希望的，充满希望的
He was hopeful aboutthe outcome of the meeting.他对会议的结果充满希望。
b. 给人以希望的
The green shoots were hopeful signsof spring.绿色的嫩芽是春天充满希望的象征。
③sanguine ['sæŋɡwɪn] 乐观的，充满希望的，怀着希望的
I was born in high summer and own a sanguine character.
出生于盛夏的我，拥有乐天性格。
这里讲讲sanguine这个词~
sanguin= blood ，表示“血”，同词根的单词还是有很多的：
sanguinary adj. 流血的；血腥的(sanguin+-ary形容词后缀)
consanguineous adj. 血亲的；血缘的；同宗的(com表示相同的前缀+sanguin+eous)
exsanguine adj. 无血的；失血的；贫血症的(ex“出”+sanguine→血都出去了，也就是无血，贫血的)
sanguine adj. 乐天的；自信的；红润的(表面的满面红光，实质就是很乐观心态啦~)
④buoyant ['buːjənt] 欢欣鼓舞的，心情愉快的
After reading the letter he was in a buoyant mood.读了信后，他高兴得快要飘起来了。
buoyant的本义是“有浮力的”，浮力就是buoyant force。
【小知识】
buoyant的同义词还有：bright, gay, jocular, jocund, jovial。
⑤positive 积极的；怀有希望的
a positive attitude乐观的态度
jointly deliver to the world positive signals 共同向世界发出积极信号
【小知识】
在时政汉英翻译中，deliver很常见，算得上是超级超级好用的加分词。
deliver常常表示实现、践行、取得，比如政府工作报告里就有很多——
我国成功主办二十国集团领导人杭州峰会，推动取得一系列开创性、引领性、机制性重要成果，在全球经济治理中留下深刻的中国印记。China successfully hosted the G20 2016 Hangzhou Summit, and helped to deliver a number of important pioneering, leading, and institutional outcomes, thus doing its part for global economic governance.
2. 积极的行动
在政府工作报告或者是领导人讲话稿里，常常会提到积极应对某事。
①active 活跃的；积极的；起作用的
积极防御军事战略"active defense" military strategy
②proactive 先发制人的；积极的
积极的财政政策和稳健的货币政策proactive fiscal and prudent monetary policies
实施更加积极的就业政策 implement a more proactive employment policy
积极扩大有效投资。We will work proactively to expand effective investment.
③positive 建设性的
采取切实和积极的行动来纠正之前的错误言行
take practical and positive actions to correct its incorrect words and deeds
中韩关系为两国人民带来了实实在在的利益，也为地区和平与发展作出了积极贡献。
China-ROK relations have not only brought tangible benefits for the people of both countries, but also made positive contributions to regional peace and stability.
3. 积极的结果
favorable 有利的；顺利的；良好的
We have had a favorable response to the plan so far.
到目前为止，关于此计划我们得到的反馈是肯定的。
