提起秋裤，第一时间想到了就是“时尚传媒集团”的总裁——苏芒女士啦。

2008年的一次采访中，苏芒透露自己在冬天坚持不穿秋裤。

她说外国人很歧视穿毛裤，结果被嘲讽了这么多年，也有了“秋裤芒”的黑称。

今天来看一下“秋裤”用英语怎么说？

1、leggings 紧身裤

英语释义：very tight trousers made from a material that stretches easily, usually worn by women

Don't wear capri pants or leggings to the interview.

面试不要穿短裤或者紧身裤。

capri pants：紧身长裤，卡布里裤；七分裤 

2、thermal underwear 保暖内衣

英语释义：underwear that has been specially designed to keep you warm

My mother has bought the thermal underwear for me.

我妈妈已经给我买了保暖内衣。

3、long underwear  长内衣

英语释义：an undergarment with shirt and drawers in one piece

4、long johns 衬裤，秋裤

道理我都懂，但是这个长约翰是啥什么意思呢？这要追溯到19世纪了。

当时美国的重量级拳王“波士顿壮男孩”John L ·Sullivan，很喜欢赤裸上身，总穿着长内裤（long underpants）打比赛。
