There is no denying that the ability to communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and staff is essential in any successful institution. Besides communication between employers and employees, job satisfaction and employee engagement are more important for the success of any organization。

Admittedly, it is commonly observed that communication between managers and workers is required necessarily in achieving productivity at all levels of an organization. In general, to accomplish the goals and implement the plans, managers need to do much more than communicate with all members but motivate them to back up the specific plan, build commitment to the organization, establish rapport and collaboration. Actually, good management facilitates to create a culture that makes people feel like they belong to and want to support the organization, so communication alone is not sufficient.

Apart from communication, job satisfaction has a profound effect on the success of organizations. When employees are dissatisfied, they become apathetic, and productivity plummets. Employees’ low job satisfaction will lead to poor job performance. It is necessary for companies to provide incentives such as paid days off and promotions to improve job satisfaction of employees. An employee may tend to work harder when he knows he has an opportunity to ascend in the social ladder of an organization and earn more pay, which is beneficial for the success of an enterprise.

Once employees are satisfied with the company, engagement increases accordingly, which is critical to the success of the corporation.To be specific, employee engagement is the level to which a typical worker feels emotionally attached to his workplace. High employee engagement normally means that people in the organization come to work for intangible benefits that extend beyond regular compensation. Therefore, companies with high employee engagement are bound to be successful.

In summary, although communication between managers and workers is vital, both job satisfaction and employee engagement are more significant factors for the success of any organization.
