Do you feel very hard to impress other people by your self-introduction? And when it comes to important activities, it seems more important when your self-introduction catch others attention and interesting, and sure it should be varies on different situation, and here I'd like to introduce a way to let others remember you, which is name three key words describes you.

The self-introduction I did last time is for the first speech in Toastmaster, icebreaker, and here's what I present.

Hey Guys, I'm Crystal and as the first speech, I'll do self-introduction as icebreaker, maybe I'll start with my kindergarten... just kidding.. I really don't want to bored you with my boring life, so, I'll use three key words to let you remember me.

The first is Chemistry, it's my major in university, and even now I'm still working in this industry. When we were young, we always dreams about who to be when we grow up, like to be a scientist, to be a superstar, to be a good teacher, etc, and for me, I had big ambitious to be a scientist, just like Madame Curie, I'm obsessed by the bright-colored liquid, and how they react with each other, generating something new, just like magic, and I want to be someone who can create something no others did.. I know this is a good story to tell, about follow your heart to your dream, while if you think this is me, then you're wrong, the only ture reason I choose chemistry is only I'm good at it, and I liked my chemistry teacher, only I still haven't yet meet the one I really have chemistry on..

So here comes my second key word, Single, as just back from Spring Festival, you might heard some miserable stories on the single people, and you might even went through it if you are one of them. When visit your relatives, you expect some warm talking with the big family, hopes they can still treat us as kid that never need to grow up, laughing, playing cards or Majiang, while it turns out, that what waiting you ahead is endless questions embarrass you, 'Do you have a boy friend?' 'No.' 'What? You've graduated for several years' 'How much money do you earn?' '...' 'When you plan to buy a house?''...' And when I hang out with my friends, I expected to catch up our old times, all the best memories we have, while it turns not, she is not alone, neither with boyfriend or husband, but with her 5-year old son.. and we keep looking after him in the whole time. Then I'm start to think why I am still single, and the answer comes to the third key word.

Reading, I spend so much time on reading books, normally 50~100 books every years and I remember many times, when there're guys called me, 'Hey how you doing, the sunshine's there, you wanna hang out with me today?' and I said, 'Not really, I haven't finish my reading plan yet'.. and I keep telling so for several times, and then the calling finally stops. Even though, I still love reading, enjoy reading, I can find flow when I am reading and feel the sense of satisfaction and achievement, I joined several reading club, meet many amazing people and it's them who makes me broaden my horizon, because of loving reading original English books, I started an English Reading Club together with friend, it's almost one year old and I'm glad I find something that I passionate about.

In 2019, I have a little dream, which I can meet the one whom I have chemistry on and also enjoy reading, so that we can end our single life together.
