He whom I enclose with my name is weeping in this dungeon.
被我用名字囚禁的人
在这囚牢中哭泣
I am ever busy building this wall all around; and as this wall goes up into the sky day by day I lose sight of my true being in its dark shadow.
我总是忙于在四周筑起围墙
当这围墙一天天高入云霄时
我却在它的阴影遮蔽下
失去了真我
I take pride in this great wall,
and I plaster it with dust and sand
lest a least hole should be left in this name
and for all the care I take I lose sight of my true being.
我以这高墙为荣
用沙土将它抹平
生怕这名字上
遗留一点孔隙
我为此煞费苦心
却在这其中
失去了真我......
