The time that my journey takes is long

and the way of it long.

我的旅程

时间漫长

旅途漫长

I came out on the chariot of the first gleam of light,

and pursued my voyage through the wildernesses of worlds

leaving my track on many a star and planet.

我乘上第一缕晨光的马车出行

在这世界的广漠原野展开我的旅程

在无数的星球之上，留下我的轨迹

It is the most distant course that comes nearest to thyself,

and that training is the most intricate

which leads to the utter simplicity of a tune.

要经过最遥远的路程

才能抵达离你自己最近的地方

要经过最艰难复杂的训练

才可唱出最极致简单的音调

The traveller has to knock at every alien door to come to his own, and one has to wander through all the outer worlds to reach the inner most shrine at the end.

旅人要叩过每个陌生人的门

才能来到自家门口

人要踏遍大千世界

才能抵达内心最深处的圣殿

My eyes strayed far and wide

before I shut them and said `Here art thou! '

我的眼睛，望遍了

遥远广阔的四面八方

才合上它们说：

“原来，你在这里！”

The question and the cry `Oh, where? '

melt into tears of a thousand streams

and deluge the world

with the flood of the assurance `I am! '

这问题和这呼喊：

“噢，在哪儿？”

融入了千条泪溪

才得以汇合

这确定的洪流——

“我，在这儿”

在整个世界泛滥
