Academics 学术
Purdue is both challenging and rewarding. If you get an A in a difficult class, it's because you know your stuff for the most part.
普渡的课程很难，但会让你学到很多东西。如果你在一节难课上拿了A，反而只能说明你之前就已经了解那节课的大部分内容了。
The academics at Purdue are truly excellent. Most companies will search for students with Purdue educations and finding a job after school is relatively easy. With that being said, the courses are quite difficult, and you have to study a lot to be competitive in bell curve grading.
普渡的学术很赞。大多数公司都很看重普渡的毕业生，所以毕业之后就业是比较轻松的。之所以会如此，也是因为普渡的课程都不简单，你必须非常努力才能在课上竞争过其他人。
Purdue takes pride in the programs it offers. It has put a lot of time, money, and effort into providing the best curriculum it can for the students that attend.

Campus 校园
The campus is very beautiful with the fancy brick buildings. There are many great traditions, especially when it comes to Big Ten athletics. There are lots of green spaces. You will never get bored on campus with all the activities and studying.

West Lafayette and Lafayette have enough attractions to keep the students occupied. If you want to go to a major city, Indy and Chicago are a short drive away.
在西拉法耶特和拉法耶特城里有很多有趣的去处，满足各种吃喝玩乐的需求。如果你想要去大城市玩，开车到印第安纳波利斯或者芝加哥都挺近的。
Not a crazy amount to do. It's close enough to Chicago to take days trips.

Food 餐饮
Most restaurants around campus use HungryBoiler, allowing you to order delivery to your location, usually until very late. Great options and services for decent prices.
学校附近的大部分餐厅都跟HungryBoiler有合作，可以轻松点外卖，甚至到深夜。就餐的选项也很多，而且价格很公道。
All of the dining courts usually having good variety, hillen brunch is fantastic, great off campus dining options as well.

Off campus dining is good. There are a good variety of restaurants in chauncey and the Fresh Market grocery is very good for students who like to cook for themselves.

Health & Safety 健康和安全
Purdue Police will have random stops for suspected drunk students.

Our police and University take safety on campus very seriously. They have spent millions of dollars in programs and technology to make this campus safe. From the safe walk program to the police boxes that have been put up all over campus. We are one of the safest campuses in the nation.

Housing 住宿
The facilities are adequate, but most of the dorms are far from campus and RA's aren't always good about enforcing the rules.

Dorms are convenient for students. It only takes 5-10 minutes to get to my classes. Parking is the worst.

The location of all of Purdue's housing is great, but some of the older residences are very small. The more you want to pay, the more space and up to date rooms you can receive.
我觉得宿舍的位置都不错，虽然有些老旧的宿舍空间挺小的。在这里愿意付更多的价钱是能住到更好更新的房间的。
Overall Experience 总体体验
I get my master's degree at Purdue University in Mechanical Engineering. I have had enjoyed my time here. School has kept me busy for the past two years and I have learnt a lot. Would recommend this school to others in future.

Purdue is a very academically challenging university. While the campus is not as diverse as I would like it to be, I do feel that I will be well prepared intellectually once I earn my degree.

The university provides an atmosphere that encourages learning, student improvement, and opportunities for future careers. Though the grading is very difficult, it helps students to keep a focused mind. Most of the teachers are very willing to help students and they truly want to see each and every student succeed.

Party Scene 校园派对
No matter what, just walk around and you'll see something going on.
不管怎么说，校园里随处走走你肯定能找到一些party的存在。
I'm not one to party til the cows come home, but it's fun.
我不常参加party，但是挺有趣的。
The party scene is mostly at fraternities. You don't have to take part, but greek peroiple are always talking about them and how drunk they were at them.
大部分party都是兄弟会姐妹会开的。你可以不参与，不过那些人成天就知道聊各个party上大家都醉成了什么样。
Parties and bars are always options. Most parties are on Thursday nights. Most people go to the bars on Fridays and the weekends.
在这里你总能找到想去的party或酒吧。大部分party都开在周四晚上，周五和周末人们一般会出门去酒吧。
Student Life 校园生活
The facilities are great, but it would be nice if the football team played better. The volleyball team is excellent as is the marching band.
校园的体育设施很不错，只是如果我们的橄榄球队能打得更好一些就更棒了。不过，我们的排球队和行进乐队还是很棒的。
There are several sororities and fraternities around Purdue. They put out all types of signs, have call-outs, and send out emails at the beginning of the year. Once the year the started and everybody gets into their schedule, they'll do community events from time to time, but not so focused on recruiting anymore. You would have to go to them.
普渡有不少兄弟会姐妹会，他们会放上各种标志，口号，并在开学的时候发各种宣传邮件。学期开始后，他们会做一些社区性的活动，但不会主动招新了，想要加入就得自荐上门咯。
Our athletics are pretty good. The school spirit is just above average. If our football team doesn't win a lot of games, we still root for them, but were not as energetic. Our marching band is the one with the most spirit. You can hear them practicing every day. Lots of students still go to watch the other sports on game days.
我们学校的运动队们都不错，校队荣誉感也和其他学校差不多。如果橄榄球队总是输，虽然我们依然会为他们加油，但是热情会大大减少。我们的行进乐队才是最有学校精神的那一部分，他们每天都会训练。不少学生也会去看其他运动的校队比赛。
Our Greek system is the biggest in the big ten! They are an important part of life here on Purdue's campus. They help shape the community one house at a time.

Value 发展价值
Purdue University is considered a top school anywhere in the nation. We are the leaders in engineering and technology. Are courses are hard because are students are pushed to learn more and to give the best effort you can. We are in the top ten hardest schools grade wise in the country and that will not change anytime soon.
普渡是一所闻明全美的顶尖大学。我们在工程技术领域处于领先的地位。课程挺难，不过学生们也因此都非常努力。我们的课程难度全美排名前十，而这一点也并不会被其他学校赶超。
There is a lot of stress from classes, but a Purdue degree is highly sought after in many industries. The industrial roundtable is held here yearly and is one of the biggest job fairs in the nation!
学校课程难度给学生们带来了不少压力，不过普渡的学位在不少领域都是很有含金量的。很多领域的圆桌活动都会在这里举办，还有全美最大的招聘会！
