解读《道德经》第01章:可道可名

原文:

道可道,非常道;名可名,非常名;无名天地之始,有名万物之母;故常无欲以观其妙,常有欲以观其徼;此两者同出,而异名同谓之玄,玄之又玄,众妙之门。

翻译:

道可以被诠释,但都不恒久;命可以被命名,但都不恒久;寰宇伊始,万物没命;命名是万物的孕育;保持无欲能看到神奇,保持贪念能看到功效;两者同时产生,呈现命名不同和称谓相同的玄动;旋转和缠绕,就是神奇玄妙的源泉。

解读:

对道的诠释就道理,对物的定义就是命名;但任何诠释和定义都不会永远正确;因为宇宙和世界是客观存在的,道作用物,都有具象和表现;人们具有经验和智慧,通过观察和总结,能够认识道的理论,可以理解物的命名;所以道是可以被道的,命是可以被名的;

因为宇宙和世界是无边无际的,无始无终的,而人们的认识、理解和诠释都是局部的,片面的和暂时的,所以人们对道的认知和诠释,对物的定义和命名都不是恒久正确的,有效的,

道创生万物,也是万物的本质和原理;而这些原理和本质,都是可以被认知,被诠释。人类进化出了意识和智慧,就有能力了解,认识和诠释自然现象背后的原理和本质,然后形成理论,可以指导实践活动,改善效率,提高能力。探索和发现事物的本质,总结和归纳前人的经验,是人类特有的智慧。人类从普通的动物,在不具备体力和身材的优势的情况下,进化成了地球的主人,一个重要的因素就是善于沟通交流信息。善于总结经验。善于理性推理,从而逐步发现和理解事物的本质和原理。

因为大道是隐蔽神奇的,自然是复杂多样的,事物是变化发展的,而人类的认知和观念都是局部和暂时的,所有的理论和观念都不是恒久的。所以,观念陈旧,思想僵化是人类进步的主要障碍,思想自由,言论自由,交流自由,是人类文明进步的重要方法。

开天辟地之前,万物寂静,宇宙爆炸之后,能量发挥作用,大道赋予了万物的命理,定义了万物生长和变化的机理,所以命名就是万物的生母。而定义和概念是人们对事物的命名和命理的认识和理解,但都是局部的,侧面的和暂时的。

万物都有命理,定义就是人们对命理的诠释。正确的定义可以促进事物的生长,错误的概念就会限制事物的发展;

人们看到的都是事物的表象,如果做到克制欲望贪念,就能够感觉到和领悟到事物内在的神奇和玄妙,也就是道所赋予的命理。如果放纵欲望贪念,就只能看到事物的用途和功效。

人们都是主观的,观察都是片面的,看到的都是自己想要和愿意看到的,并非都是完整的,真实的事物。放空头脑,清除欲念,就能看到事物的真实的,奇妙的属性;情人眼里出西施,是普遍的现象,却是错误的判断;stay foolishi, stay hungry 通常可以感悟事物的本质。

事物内在的命理和人们赋予的定义,两者同时呈现;称谓相同,概念各异,相互移动,彼此缠绕,形成了神奇玄妙的,五彩缤纷的万事万物。

大道赋予事物的深邃和混沌的命理,人们对于事物的认知和评判,双线多因螺旋结构,构建了自然的复杂多样,事物的千奇百怪;制造了民族的个性特征,社会的阶层区块;人类的冲突和纷争的本质和根源都是起源于对事物的命理和定义无知和误解。所以,知识和智慧是创建人类和谐生活的核心要素,科学和理性是推动人类文明进步的必要手段。

作用:

理解了本章道德经的精神本质和思想内涵,我们就要勇敢地探索自然现象的本质和原理,也要坚决地防止思想观念的固执和僵化;发现和认识,家庭中的道,生活中的道,工作中的道,企业里的道,行业里的道,地区中的道,民族中的道;学习圣贤的思想,领悟大师的智慧,结合自己的实际,发现和诠释自己领域中的道;保持开放的心态,包容不同的文化;在选择产品,与人相处的过程中,保持勇敢,明智,谨慎的姿态,这些都是我们享受快乐时光,幸福生活的必要因素。

Tao can be interpreted, but not for a long time; life can be named, but not for a long time; at the beginning of the universe, everything is destitute; naming is the gestation of all things; keeping desire to see magic, keeping greed to see efficacy; both produce at the same time, showing different names and the same metaphysical movement; rotation and entanglement are the source of magic and mystery.

The interpretation of Tao is reason and the definition of things is naming; however, any interpretation and definition will not always be correct; because the universe and the world are objective and Tao have representations and manifestations; people have experience and wisdom, through observation and summary, can understand the theory of Tao and can understand the naming of things; so Tao can be Dao, life can be named;

Because the universe and the world are infinite and endless, and people's understanding and interpretation are partial, one-sided and temporary, so people's understanding and interpretation of Tao and the definition and naming of things are not permanent correct nor effective.

Tao creates all things and are also the essence and principle of all things and these principles and essence can be recognized and interpreted. As human beings evolve consciousness and wisdom, they have the ability to understand and interpret the principles and essence behind natural phenomena and then form theories, which can guide practical activities, improve efficiency and enhance capacity. Exploring and discovering the essence of things, summing up the experience of predecessors are the unique wisdom of mankind. Human beings have evolved from ordinary animals to the masters of the earth without the advantages of physical strength and stature. One important factor is that they are good at communicating and exchanging information. Be good at summing up experience, Good at rational reasoning, so as to gradually discover and understand the essence and principles of things.

Because the avenue is concealed and magical, natural is complex and diverse, things are changing and developing, and human cognition and ideas are partial and temporary, all theories and concepts are not permanent. Therefore, obsolete concepts and rigid ideas are the main obstacles to human progress. Freedom of thought, speech and communication are the important methods of human civilization progress.

Before the founding of heaven and earth, everything was quiet. After the explosion of the universe, energy played a role. The great Tao endowed all things with the principle of life, defined the mechanism of growth and change of all things, so naming is the birth mother of all things. Definitions and concepts are people's understanding of naming and numerology of things, but they are local, lateral and temporary.

Everything has fate and definition is people's interpretation. Correct definition can promote the growth of things, and wrong concepts can limit the development of things.

What people see is the appearance of things. If we can restrain desire and greed, we can feel and comprehend the inner magic and mystery of things, that is the fate endowed by Tao. If we indulge in desire and greed, we can only see the use and efficacy of things.

People are subjective, observation is one-sided, what they see is what they want to see, not all are complete and real things. Empty your mind and clear your desires, you can see the true and wonderful attributes of things; Beauty in the eyes of your lover is a common phenomenon, but a wrong judgment; stay foolish, stay hungry can usually understand the essence of things.

The intrinsic principle of things and the definitions given by people present at the same time; the appellations are the same, the concepts are different, they move and intertwine with each other, forming a magical, mysterious and colorful things.

great Tao endows things with profound and chaotic fate, people's cognition and judgment of things, double-line multi-cause spiral structure, which constructs the complex and diverse nature and strange things; creates the national personality characteristics and social stratum blocks; the essence and root of human conflicts and disputes are all originated from ignorance and misunderstanding of the fate and definition of things. Therefore, knowledge and wisdom are the core elements to create a harmonious human life, and science and reason are the necessary means to promote the progress of human civilization.

Understanding the spiritual essence and ideological connotation of this chapter, we should bravely explore the nature and principles of natural phenomena, and resolutely prevent the stubbornness and rigidity of ideological concepts; discover and understand the Tao in family, life, work, enterprise, industry, region and nation; learn the thoughts of sages and understand the Tao in the nation.
