Remembering Master Han Fei
By Bai Hua
If a man says he reads a lot, he has read hundreds at most.
The world is so big, but how many places can he go in his lifetime?
However living to age of eighty, a man is actually dead.
"There isn't much discomfort, probably just be one of forms of aging."
Time is my Han Feizi, in Changchun or Beibei?
Nothing to do, I always thought of the north when I was young,
nothing to do, I underwent bodily hardships, because the task lies ahead
In Changchun, harshly, it had experienced my legs with toil
I lay on my sunny bed reading Han Feizi, all day
Animals fear pain and danger but know little about time
the time is as yet coming faster than we thought? Or later?
"Time is like a river of iron..." The metal plate on my femur
is so magic! Returning while leaving--
Back in Beibei, I finally wrote a Han Feizi poem
