A Fairy Song
仙音
Over hill, over dale,
翻山丘以越溪谷，
Thorough bush thorough brier,
穿灌木而掠荆棘，
Over park, over pale,
跳小园以跨桩子，
Thorough flood thorough fire,
驶洪流而透烟火，
I do wander everywhere,
吾之足迹四野，
Swifter than the moon's sphere；
疾凌圆月；
And I serve the Fairy Queen,
效于仙后，
To dew her orbs upon the green；
前吾汛其草湿；
The cowslips tall her pensioners be；
后翠南使奔属；
In their gold coats spots you see；
金斑相缀衣裳；
Those be rubies, fairy favours；
刚玉仙之挚爱；
In those freckles live their savours；
点点尚存彼芳；
I must go seek some dewdrops here,
吾需寻露至此，
And hang a pearl in every cowslip's ear.
挂珍珠乎草耳。
