演讲集终于读完了，顺带看了下视频。金凯瑞的演讲其实蛮精彩的。虽然仍有一点不正经，顺便被他的画作惊呆了。最后一篇大卫华莱士不是很喜欢，预料之中的枯燥也可以说有点无聊，多少还带点辩证思维。
睡前读一点小王子。
Chapter 9

太可爱了。小王子有两座活火山，用来热早饭。
休眠火山就是后文提到的the extinct volcano

带着点忧郁，小王子将最后几颗猴面包树苗也薅了。
dejection是沮丧，灰心之意，豹豹在这里给延伸了一点点，毕竟小王子决定不再回来，有一些忧伤在里面。
后文也出现了这个词，属于中频词汇

这一章略长，小王子见到了一位国王。豹豹觉得国王还是很可爱的。

国王不能容忍违抗。后面还出现了类似的意思句子They obey instantly. I do not permit insubordination(不顺从).

he plucked up his courage to ask the king a favor...
鼓起勇气，在纳尼亚中也出现过同句型

国王虽然专zhi但是开明，对别人的要求必须在别人的能力之内。后文还提到“我的要求能让臣民服从(虽然这个星球就这一个国王外加一只老耗子)是因为我的要求合理。”

批评自己比批评别人要难得多。如果能够正确审度自己，就是拥有真正智慧的人。
相当有道理。
篇幅不长，但每一章读起来都很治愈。
