蒙羞

蒙羞
就像个白气球,

从厅房到尘屋

Shame

Shame,
like a white balloon,

from room to dusty room in search of flight.

Home

When she thinks of home, the word 'home'
echoes in her mouth

like 'the dead'
echoes in the mouths of the living.

奔跑

Running

The giant rabbit running through the woods

Evening Out

Like people in their nineties shovelling snow
side by side on a dark night,

we're hoping that an evening out together
is saying what we want it to say!

What It Feels Like to Feel Like Me

It feels like my body has been trampled on
by herds of knitted cattle with felt ears -

which leaves me feeling curiously elated
for having been mistaken for a field.

诗人简介：赛莉玛·希尔（Selima Hill）1945年出生于汉普斯特德的一个画家家庭，曾在剑桥大学学习，现居多塞特海岸。她著有二十本诗集，其中《喜欢肉丸的人》（Bloodaxe，2012），入围Forward奖最佳诗集。她的新诗集《喂鸽子的男人》将于2021年由Bloodaxe出版。英国诗人和小提琴家菲奥娜·桑普森称赞希尔为 "可以说是自西尔维娅·普拉斯以来英语诗歌中出现的最独特的真相讲述者"。她的诗集《Jutland》（由Bloodaxe出版）曾入围2015年艾略特诗歌奖。
