未有所动

心热的情人节卡片贴在我心口上
依然我们未有所动，就像

静物画中的物品
刀子似乎流转在盘子之上
它本身也就是在桌子之上踌躇，

苹果、梨子和酒杯的通盘考虑
忘记了万有引力定律，
不肯定下心来，

宛如画家从舒缓航程罕有的瞬间
把它们都逮住了
就在它们游离逼真阳光的窗口
逸出房间之前。

译注：情人节卡片原文为valentine（小写）， 该词在英文中含义比较丰富，可以指匿名的情人节贺卡，也可以情人节贺卡的收件人，也可以指情人节礼物。在1940年代，valentine作为成语（美国）的释义是指非常短的刑期判决；1960年代，在美国大学校内指学期成绩不及格的通知书。

Not Touching

The valentine of desire is pasted over my heart
and still we are not touching, like things

in a poorly done still life
where the knife appears to be floating over the plate
which is itself hovering above the table somehow,

the entire arrangement of apple, pear and wineglass
having forgotten the law of gravity,
refusing to be still,

as if the painter had caught them all
in a rare moment of slow flight
just before they drifted out of the room
through a window of perfectly realistic sunlight.
